10,000 J-K, LADAKH STUDENTS APPLY FOR PM SCHOLARSHIP IN FOUR DAYS: AICTE
Around 10,000 students have applied in four days for the Prime Minister Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS) for the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh for taking admission in undergraduate courses outside J-K, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) said in a statement.
AICTE began online registration for the Special Scholarship Scheme for Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh students on September 6. The last date to apply for a scholarship is September 15.
As per the scheme, the students who are studying online from Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh are provided with Rs 20,000 per semester or Rs 40,000 per year.
